Located on the oceanfront in trendy South Beach, this luxury hotel was designed by Philippe Starck, who collaborated with rocker Lenny Kravitz.
Sophisticated rooms with chandeliers and white decor feature flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and iPod docks. Accommodations range from city-view rooms to plush ocean-view penthouses with private terraces.
Amenities include an 8,000-square-foot pool area, and 2 upscale eateries featuring Latin cuisine and sushi (an open kitchen/restaurant replaces the traditional lobby). There’s also 28,000 square feet of event space. A daily resort fee includes Wi-Fi throughout, 2 beach chairs and fitness-center access.
